You should rinse and dry your wetsuit after every use–you'll thank us. While soaping up and scrubbing isn't necessary (reminder: do not use harsh soaps or abrasives on a wetsuit), you should plan to rinse and dry your wetsuit every time you use it.,
Wetsuits perform best when rinsed with clean, fresh water, turned inside out, and hung up to dry between uses. This can be as simple as a quick rinse-and-hang on the shower rod.
Why thank us for the reminder? Because putting on a wetsuit can be hard. But a wet wetsuit sticks to your skin, stretches when you pull on it, and is (really) just uncomfortable to pull on. You want to focus energy on your race, not on a wrestling match with a piece of gear. Rinse and dry every time. You're welcome.
