How are kits cleaned and disinfected?

All products are cleaned, laundered, and sanitized after each use with a minimum of 5 days between rentals.

Kit Lender uses an EPA-approved, fast-acting, foaming formula that instantly kills bacteria, viruses and germs on contact with product surfaces. Our cleaning products are designed for use in commercial and industrial spaces — such as restaurants, bars, gyms, daycare centers, schools, and more.

Our Camp and Hiking products--including but not limited to--tents, tent poles, sleeping mats, and other products are all cleaned using approved cleaning chemicals and formulas. All sleeping bags and snow clothing are laundered according to the manufacturer specifications. Dishes, pots, pans, and cutlery are rinsed using Sanitizing tablets accepted by the EPA as effective in killing bacteria when used as directed.
